Xabi Alonso enjoyed his first start for Real Madrid on Sunday as the club's record £80million signing Cristiano Ronaldo combined with fellow new galactico Kaka to help the Spanish giants cruise to a 3-0 victory over DC United.
The trio put in a polished performance that saw big-spending Real follow up their emphatic 5-1 win over Toronto FC last Friday in a convincing manner to complete their four-day North American tour.
